I actually had never heard of Rovectin before Wishtrend invited them to join the family. If you are a newbie to Rovectin, here is a little bit of background information.
The journey begins when Lee – the founder of Rovectin, watching his sister fight against cancer. We all know when dealing with cancer, you will need to go through a long diagnosis involving chemicals. Thus, their main mission is to improve the most irritating side-effects, which are skin dryness and barrier deterioration. On their website, Rovectin actually comes from the Latin word reverti, meaning “to go back to where it was.”
Early July, Wishtrend kindly sent me some products from Rovectin to test out. Honestly, I was super excited to try out because at that time, my face seemed too sensitive to hot and dry weather in Southern California.
I want to introduce the first product from Rovectin – the LHA Blemish Ampoule.
This product is great for acne-prone, sensitive to normal dry skin.

Notable ingredients:
- LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): A lipo-hydroxy acid, exfoliates the skin, decongests clogged pores, refines the skin’s surface. LHA is actually more gentle than AHA/BHA.
- 85% of Neroli flower water extract: it’s an essential oil that is great for antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving.
- Glutathione: improve skin tones by fading out blemishes after a break out

LHA Blemish Ampoule is a day and night serum that has a clear white – gelish consistency. It aims to soothe and brighten up our skin. I use the ampoule as a spot treatment by applying a bean size to the pimples, but you can also use it as a serum by applying on the whole face.
This ampoule is fragrant free, and it has a thick clear gel. Upon application, it sinks into your skin pretty fast without any stickiness. I have been using this product for almost 4 weeks now, and I’ve already gone through ⅓ of the 15ml bottle.

I didn’t expect much, but this product actually works! I got a big red pimple on my forehead. So I applied around 2 drops of the LHA ampoule in that area in my night time routine.
The next morning, my pimple seemed to flatten a little bit, but definitely, it was still swollen and inflamed underneath. The result was a bit clearer on day 3. My pimple was not “big” anymore, blemished area looked a lot soothing and calming.
Since summer time in SoCal is super hot, compared to WA state’s cooling summer, I’m actually breaking a bit more when moving to California. So I’m still incorporate this ampoule in my night time skin care routine. After at least 2 weeks, my old blemishes and acne scars have faded a lot. I’m actually impressed with this product!
However, if you are using a product contains retinol, the best recommendation is not to use retinol, LHA and also Vitamin C together. They “don’t like” each other. Try to apply them at different times of the day for best result without over exfoliate or irritate your skin barrier.
[2021/ January Update] I’m still using this serum because I loveeeee it! It works super great as an acne spot treatment. Even if my pimple has pus and looks nasty, when you apply the serum directly, it does not irritate that area. And eventually, if you use it consistently after popping up your pimple, it does help to fade those acne scars. So from August 2020 – January 2021, only a bit left in my bottle hahahaha. I highly recommend you to check out this serum because it’s truly helping me a lot! I would repurchase this because it’s a lifesaver for me (besides acne patches haha)!
